jesus rested
We’ve spent 2,000 years talking about all the things Jesus accomplished. Yet Jesus didn’t seem to define himself solely off what he did.
He broke away from the crowds and found silence.
He took naps.
He observed the Sabbath.
Jesus had a rhythm of rest that seemed to both drive the depth of who he was and give him the focus and energy to live the life that he lived.
So go live Jesus-ly.

I agree with you.
But personally I see it as Jesus observing a day of rest. The reasoning comes from matthew. Jesus broke sabbath laws in order to eat;survive, to heal; show compassion to the ones who do not normally receive it, and I also believe broke sabbath walking laws, because each of His healings or plucking grain would have already been considered work so in order to work one must walk. but I do agree whole heartedly that Jesus, our savior, did observe rest.
